In addition to the following rules, the General Can-Am Crown Rules also apply to this race.
The race trail covers approximately 30 miles of scenic terrain that includes forests, brooks, lakes, and fields. A safety cabin is located near the halfway mark at the Black Lake snowmobile camp. The cabin is to be used for emergencies. It is not an official checkpoint.
To allow for pre-race veterinary examinations and gear checks, teams are required to be present at the staging area on Saturday morning by 7:00 a.m.. Examinations will be done in the order of bib numbers.
All entrants must attend the mushers' meeting on Friday, February 29, 2008 at 4:30 p.m. at the Fort Kent Municipal Building.
Entries will not be confirmed until Can-Am Crown receives the entry fee

Drivers withdrawing before January 1, 2008 will receive a $60 refund.
Beginning January 1, refunds will be reduced by $1 per day.
