proper clothing (waterproof and warm)
good boots (again.... waterproof and warm/well insulated)
smaller duffle bag (for carrying clothing, etc. for 3 days)
sleeping bag
stethoscope
watch with second hand
leash (simple noose style nylon is fine; anything but a flexi-leash)
thermometer (mercury & digital)
bandage scissors
headlamp (and extra batteries)
sharpies (or other markers) of various sizes
hand & foot warmers
sunglasses
-optional (not essential, but could be useful):
small backpack for your vet supplies
flashlight
snowshoes
crampons (even a cheap pair in case of icy conditions, but preferably something that won't be hazardous to the dogs)
chains for your tires (bring them along if you have some, but by no means do you need to go buy them)
